Ferrari Roma successor arrives with 640 hp and roof that opens in 13 seconds; see the estimated price and details of the new Maranello car
Ferrari has officially presented the new Ferrari Amalfi Spider — a convertible variant of its latest entry-level “gran turismo”. The model, which arrives on the international market as a 2027 line, consolidates the definitive succession of the Ferrari Roma lineage, betting on the balance between the brand’s aesthetic purism and the versatility of a retractable fabric top.
The design preserves the coupe’s fluid and muscular lines from the waist down, maintaining the visual sobriety that characterizes the manufacturer’s front-center engine models. The main novelty lies in the flexible roof, which takes only 13.5 seconds to be activated at speeds of up to 60 km/h. When retracted, the structure occupies only 22 centimeters thick, allowing a cargo volume of 173 liters — which rises to 255 liters with the top closed.

Under the hood, Ferrari kept the acclaimed 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, capable of delivering 640 hp and 77.5 kgfm. Coupled to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, the set takes the 1,556 kg bolide from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. The top speed is 320 km/h, in performance that puts it at the top of its segment.
Inside, the Amalfi Spider brings the brand’s digital refinement, with three distinct screens, but introduces a long-awaited change: the return of physical buttons on the steering wheel, replacing tactile controls criticized in previous models. There is also a wind deflector integrated into the rear seat to mitigate turbulence in the cabin.
Although official figures for Brazil have not been confirmed, it is estimated that the model costs around US$ 300 thousand in the United States.
