Special series charges extra price to deliver nostalgic look and matte black finish; find out if it's worth it
Honda has confirmed for February 2026 the arrival of the XR300L Tornado Special Edition, the first exclusive series of the new generation of trail. With a suggested price of R$ 31.540, the model bets on a visual package that evokes the identity of the brand’s competition motorcycles to differentiate itself from the standard version.
The main novelty is aesthetics. The edition adopts the predominant color “Fighting Red”, mixed with white and blue graphics that refer to the official rally and motocross teams. The design includes inscriptions with the number “300” on the sides, simulating race nameplates, as well as the “Pro Honda” and “Red Rider” logos.

To complement the aggressive look, components such as the exhaust system, rims and the rear swingarm were finished in matte black, replacing conventional metallic tones. Under the tank, however, Honda chose to keep the mechanical assembly unchanged.

The Special Edition is powered by the same 293.5 cm³ single-cylinder engine as the current lineup. The flex engine delivers up to 24.8 hp of power and works coupled to a six-speed gearbox, equipped with an assist and slipper clutch — a system that reduces effort on the lever and prevents the rear wheel from locking in sudden reductions.

The chassis follows the recipe for robustness for off-road, with a semi-double cradle chassis and long-travel suspensions. The set runs on 21-inch rims at the front and 18-inch at the rear, shod with mixed-use tires and assisted by disc brakes with two-channel ABS as standard.
