Launched in the domestic market at the end of 2025 under an aggressive commercial strategy to gain ground, the Geely EX2 electric hatch underwent its first price adjustment. With the exhaustion of the debut promotional lot, the Chinese compact, available in two configurations, had its values updated in Brazil. Despite the increase in price, the model maintains the appeal of being one of the best equipped options in the segment, with a focus on urban efficiency and fast battery recharging.

Prices, versions and mechanical assembly

Both versions share the rear electric motor with 116 hp of power and 15,3 kgfm, powered by a 39 kWh battery. By Inmetro standard, the range is 289 km, a mark that can touch 350 km in strictly urban use. The main technical attraction, however, is the fast charging system, capable of recovering 30% to 80% of energy in 21 minutes.

Value adjustments:

  • The entry-level Pro version went from R$ 119.990 to R$ 123.800;
  • The top-of-the-line Max variant rose from R$ 135.100 to R$ 136.800.

In terms of equipment, the two configurations leave the factory with independent suspension on all four wheels and six airbags. The Max option justifies the price difference with a complete driving assistance package (ADAS). The system includes adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, a 540º panoramic camera, as well as amenities such as an induction charger and electric adjustments in the driver’s seat.

High demand and national production plans

The initial acceptance of the EX2 in Brazil generated a demand higher than the supply projected by the automaker. The mismatch resulted in limited inventories, which ended up slowing down the pace of registrations in February due to normal import bottlenecks. Geely, however, projects to normalize the flow of deliveries during 2026.

The good performance at dealerships also served as a catalyst for the nationalization studies of the electric hatch. The manufacturer is evaluating the production of the EX2 at the plant in São José dos Pinhais (PR), taking advantage of the strategic alliance it has with Renault. If the project receives the definitive green light, assembly in Brazil should start between the end of 2026 and 2027. The manufacturing movement would guarantee not only protection against exchange rate variations, stabilizing prices, but also greater agility in the supply of parts and after-sales services.
