Fiat Cronos for R$ 80.290 and Mobi for R$ 72.490: see who can buy at these prices

Fiat announced special conditions for taxi drivers and app drivers with benefits of up to R$ 29 thousand, according to the brand, after the sanction of the law that made the Move Brasil program permanent. Seven models are part of the campaign, which combines promotional tables, tax exemptions and financing in a longer term.

For taxi drivers who are entitled to IPI and ICMS exemption, the highlight is the Cronos Drive 1.0, which goes from R$ 109.990 to R$ 80.290 — a difference of R$ 29.700. The Fastback T200 Smart Drive goes from R$ 127.990 to R$ 102.090. The two values already consider the tax waiver, that is, part of the reduction does not come from the automaker’s discount.

App drivers, who do not have exemptions, have their own tables: the Mobi Like 1.0 drops from R$ 85.490 to R$ 72.490, and the Argo Drive 1.0, from R$ 97.990 to R$ 88.190. In addition to these four cars, the Pulse SUV and the Strada and Toro pickups participate in the campaign.

What has changed with the new law

Sanctioned on September 14, Law 15,503/2026 transformed Move Brasil into a permanent policy, created by provisional measures in the first half of the year and which was at risk of expiring. The program provides up to R$ 30 billion in financing for workers who use the vehicle as a work tool.

The main change for the automotive sector is the expansion of the public. The minimum activity time required of app drivers fell from 12 to six months, provided that the professional has made at least 100 rides in the period on the same platform. The payment term also rose from 72 to 84 months.

Interest is 12.6% per year for men and 11.5% per year for women, as defined by the National Monetary Council. The credit is valid for zero-kilometer vehicles produced in Brazil, with an invoice of up to R$ 200 thousand. The law also included delivery workers, school transport drivers and light cargo drivers among the beneficiaries.

How to join

Taxi drivers continue to be subject to the criteria of regular licensing, active registrations with traffic agencies and tax regularity. Qualification is done through the gov.br portal, with a deadline of up to ten days for response. Banco Stellantis remains accredited by BNDES, and the service is provided in the brand’s dealership network.

The offensive is not restricted to Fiat. Jeep, also from Stellantis, announced conditions within the same program for Renegade Longitude and Compass Sport, with benefits that reach R$ 55 thousand for tax-exempt taxi drivers.
