New model in the medium segment bets on all-wheel drive and starting price in the range of R$ 140 thousand to compete for space with traditional station wagons in Europe
The Dacia Striker was officially unveiled as the Romanian automaker’s new offensive in the fierce segment of medium station wagons. Designed under the codename C-Neo, the model emerges as an alternative with aesthetic and financial appeal to category leaders such as Skoda Octavia Estate. With an aggressive starting price, estimated in the range of 22 thousand pounds (about R$ 140 thousand in direct conversion), the vehicle is strategically positioned to capture consumers focused on cost-benefit.
At 4.62 meters long, the Striker surpasses the Bigster SUV in size, but adopts a silhouette with a slightly sloping roof. This visual language mixes Dacia’s characteristic robustness with more fluid aerodynamics, aiming at a distinct customer profile.

To sustain the competitiveness of the Striker, Dacia has structured a comprehensive range of combustion engines and electrified powertrains. The great technological highlight is the availability of all-wheel drive (4×4) right at launch. The system integrates a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine on the front axle with a rear electric motor, delivering 152 hp of combined power. The European portfolio will also feature mild hybrid (MHEV) and full hybrid (HEV) systems, whose powers range from 138 hp to 153 hp, as well as a variant powered by LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas).

The arrival of the model reflects the ambitious corporate transformation of the Renault Groupe brand. The strategy foresees that the medium segment will represent a third of the automaker’s sales volume by 2030. Being the second of three launches planned for the category, the Striker is a key piece in the goal of electrifying two-thirds of Dacia’s total registrations by the end of the decade. The expansion roadmap also includes four new 100% electric models, starting with an urban one derived from the future Renault Twingo and the new generation of the best-selling Sandero. The full reveal of Striker will take place in June 2026.
