Chevrolet took advantage of the Agrishow showcase, in Ribeirão Preto (SP), to unveil the new Trailblazer Midnight. Unlike previous editions, which were limited to a darkened aesthetic package, the 2026 line of the seven-seater SUV takes on a genuinely off-road vocation by adopting, as standard, a suspension prepared by the Ironman brand.

The technical set is the main highlight of the model and includes recalibrated springs and shock absorbers that raise the body by 1.8 cm at the front and 3.0 cm at the rear. The change not only increases the distance from the ground, but also improves the entry and exit angles, which are fundamental in rough terrain. The preparation is complemented by 18″ Scorpion All Terrain tires, aimed at low-grip surfaces such as dirt and gravel.

Under the hood, the utility maintains the 2.8 turbodiesel four-cylinder engine, which delivers 207 hp and 52,0 kgfm. The set is associated with an eight-speed automatic transmission and 4×4 traction system with reduced. Due to the new suspension geometry, General Motors engineering carried out a new calibration on the driving assistance systems.

Features such as collision warning, automatic emergency braking and lane keeping assistant have received software adjustments. The measure aims to preserve the accuracy of sensor readings after the change in body angle, ensuring that active safety is not compromised by the increased height of the vehicle.

Visually, the Midnight series retains the darkened finish that made it famous. Chrome elements give way to glossy black details on the front grille, mirror caps and wheels. The bodywork debuts the Sharkskin gray tone, while the front receives a bumper extender with LED lighting and apparent tow hooks.

Inside, the standard follows the top-of-the-line High Country version, with an 8″ digital panel and 11″ MyLink center. The SUV, which maintains the chassis structure to withstand severe use, should arrive at dealerships in June this year.
