When changing the engine oil, one-liter bottles have always been used. However, it is becoming common to sell the oil in bulk, that is, in large drums. Does it have advantages?

Yes! The first is that if the crankcase needs, for example, 3.5 liters, buying sealed bottles you will have to pay four liters and save half a liter to use in the future. Maybe when you need to complete the level, if it is no longer oxidized and has expired after a few months.

Engine oil sold in bulk has another advantage: it does not require plastic packaging, no matter how recyclable it may be.

Disadvantage? A huge one: the lack of absolute trust in the supplier. And, in this case, it is better to keep the bottle sealed.
