But Lotus did not resist as a company and was acquired in 2017 by the Chinese Geely, a company that already imports and will produce its cars in Brazil in partnership with Renault, but will also bring it by another independent company, the Lotus brand, between 2026 and 2027.
A current Porsche, it will bring the Emira with a combustion engine and also electric sports cars.
