Often the solution can be to turn the car with the engine down, the trunk up, which often works for two reasons. First, the drive of the car is front, so the drive wheels are there in the front and with little friction, which increase when they are facing down.
Secondly, by engaging reverse gear, you are increasing the possibility of winning the slope because it is smaller, it is stronger than first gear.
