After raising the percentage from 27% to 30% of ethanol in the liter of gasoline, the government wants to repeat the dose (literally) and increase it to 35%
Our gasoline had 27% ethanol until August last year, when the government decided to raise this content to 30% and said that all tests were carried out to ensure the technical feasibility provided for by law. However, the procedures that evaluate durability were not done, because there was no time.

And now the government wants again, by force, to raise ethanol to 35%, stating that this time the tests will be carried out. State authorities have also stated that when the ethanol content rises, the price of a liter of gasoline falls, as ethanol is cheaper than gasoline.
This proved to be a lie, since last time the government said that the price of a liter of gasoline would fall by 11 cents. What really happened was that it fell 1 cent in São Paulo, 3 cents in Rio and rose 4 cents in Brasilia. That is, far from compensating for what the driver lost in terms of consumption.
