Among the techniques used is the well-known system of brushes that rotate over the car with water injection with shampoo. Some stations even offer it as a courtesy or at a great discount for those who have filled the fuel tank.

And then the tip is to only do this service at trusted stations, with good maintenance on the brushes. Otherwise, there is a danger that small grains of sand or dirt from one car will end up on the next scratching or marking the paintwork.
