Ownership and Funding Information

AutoPapo is a journalism portal specialized in the automotive sector, with the objective of assisting people who wish to buy, replace, maintain, and better understand how their own vehicles work.
At the helm of AutoPapo is engineer and journalist Boris Feldman, who has worked in automotive journalism for over 50 years and is nationally recognized for his work.

The AutoPapo Portal understands that, as a news portal, it has social responsibility and must always act with integrity, honesty, and independent journalism.

AutoPapo’s funding comes from advertising displayed on the website, contributions from our readers and subscribers, commercial partnerships, and, eventually, subsidies from organizations focused on promoting independent journalism.

All editorial decisions are made autonomously by our editorial team, which is composed of experienced journalists and engineers, based on technical and ethical criteria, without interference from advertisers or sponsors.

Finally, it is important to emphasize that AutoPapo ensures that all its collaborators and service providers comply with the law, the Journalist’s Code of Ethics, and do not engage in practices related to corruption.

Ethics Policy

AutoPapo is committed to Journalistic Ethics.

At AutoPapo, journalism is carried out in a serious manner.
We are concerned with providing our readers with high-quality, accurate, and impartial information.

Our work is based on the following principles:

  • Free journalism: at AutoPapo, our editorial team has full independence when choosing which content will be published. Our content is not influenced by sponsors, brands, or external interests.
  • Accuracy and truthfulness: all information published by the AutoPapo Portal is rigorously verified, based on reliable and properly identified sources.
  • Corrections: AutoPapo is committed to publishing accurate news. Therefore, if errors are identified in our content, they will be promptly corrected and clearly indicated with the same prominence as the original content.
  • Data and privacy: the privacy of our readers and sources is a priority. We handle information responsibly, in compliance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and the guidelines of the ANPD.
  • Conflicts of interest: our team is composed of experienced journalists and engineers who are properly instructed to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may affect our work.

Diversity Policy

At AutoPapo, we believe in representative journalism, because for us, relevant journalism begins with respect — for people, differences, and life paths.

Our motto is that diversity enriches content and broadens the perspectives offered to the reader.

Based on this motto, we have built a diverse team in which we respect a plurality of ideas, cultures, backgrounds, identities, and experiences.

Our work environment is free from prejudice, harassment, and discrimination of any kind.
We believe that all team members should be heard, respected, and welcomed.
Only in this way can we fulfill our goal of ensuring a healthy work environment for our collaborators.

For AutoPapo, representativeness matters.
Therefore, whenever we publish any news, we seek to hear different voices and avoid stereotypes or any discriminatory approach.

At AutoPapo, empathy sets the rules.
