The Volvo EX30 was the fourth best-selling electric car in Brazil in 2025 and gained news with the turn of the year. The main one is the Ultra Twin Motor version, which uses one motor for each axle and starts at R$ 309.950.

This mechanical set debuted in 2025 with the adventurous Cross Country version and can now come with the sportier look of the “common” EX30. The two engines combined deliver 428 hp and 55,37 kgfm, making the model accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 3,6 seconds.

With this, the Volvo EX30 Ultra Twin Motor is the fastest car in the brand’s history. But it is not the fastest, as its top speed is limited to 180 km/h.

For those looking for an electric car thinking only about performance, the Volvo EX30 Ultra Twin Motor beats the 531 hp BYD Seal from zero to 100 km/h in 0.2 s. However, the Chinese model had the price reduced to R$ 259.990.

The sports model uses the largest battery available for the EX30, with 69 kWh of capacity. The autonomy is 316 km in the Inmetro cycle.

The Ultra Twin Motor version of the EX30 is the most equipped. It features items such as the Harman Kardon sound system, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, 20-inch wheels, fixed panoramic roof, 360° cameras, autonomous beacon system and complete ADAS package. The buyer can choose from four color options for the interior, two of which are upholstered in there on the seats.

The Volvo EX30 range has been simplified with the arrival of the Ultra Twin Motor version. Before there were the Core, Plus and Ultra models, always with an engine. The entry-level Core offered the smaller 51 kWh battery and the large 69 kWh battery, while the others had only the largest.

From 2026 the Volvo EX30 is sold in the Plus version with a 51 kWh battery for R$ 239.950, in the new Ultra Twin Motor for R$ 309.950 and in the Cross Country for R$ 314.950. The entry-level model has a range of 250 km, while the dual-motor ones can run up to 316 km in the Inmetro cycle.
