Priced at almost R$ 600 thousand, Ford F-150 Tremor was made to face severe challenges, but without giving up a lot of interior space
The Ford F-150 completes its third year on the market in Brazil consolidated as one of the main references in the segment of high-end full-size pickup trucks. After the debut in 2023 in the Platinum and Lariat versions, and the arrival of the Lariat Black in 2024, the brand is betting on a configuration with a more aggressive look and real off-road capability. The result is the Ford F-150 Tremor, positioned as an intermediate alternative between the conventional versions and the extreme Raptor.
Priced at around R$ 580 thousand, the F-150 Tremor targets consumers who seek robustness, performance and technology, without giving up the characteristic comfort of the line.

Visually, the F-150 Tremor is distinguished by the redesigned steel front bumper, which improves the angle of attack and eliminates more fragile aesthetic elements, common in chrome versions. The front gained a new grille, functional air vents on the hood and the visual identity of the Tremor family, already known in other Ford models.

The raised suspension guarantees about 28 cm of ground clearance, accompanied by large all-terrain tires, designed to face mud, rocks and uneven trails. The side stirrups receive the same rubberized coating applied to the bucket, increasing durability in severe use.
Under the hood, the F-150 Tremor features the well-known V8 Coyote 5.0, the same used in the Mustang. There are 405 horsepower and high torque, enough to move a pickup that exceeds two tons with ease both on and off the asphalt.

The mechanical assembly does not have the extreme proposal of the Raptor, aimed at high speeds in severe terrain, but it delivers abundant strength and reliability for heavy trails, towing and mixed use.
The bucket maintains the differentials of the F-150 line, such as electric opening and closing, internal lighting and 127 V outlet, allowing the use of power tools and various equipment. One of the highlights is the hatch integrated into the lid, which facilitates access when there are attachments or trailers — a feature designed for those who use the pickup as a work tool.
There are also supports for fixing vices and equipment, reinforcing the functional proposal inherited from the North American market.
Inside, the F-150 Tremor preserves the luxury standard of the line. The cabin features a large multimedia center, digital panel, driving mode selector and traction system with 4×2, 4×4 high, 4×4 automatic and reduced options.

The highlight is Pro Trailer Assist, a system that facilitates maneuvers with trailers, in addition to specific commands for decoupling and control of implements. The cabin also has a retractable table in the center console, panoramic sunroof, Bang & Olufsen sound system and pre-installed auxiliary buttons for electrical accessories, avoiding improvised adaptations.
Despite its size — it is almost 6 meters long, about 2 meters wide and high and has a wheelbase close to 3.70 meters — the F-150 Tremor delivers high comfort on highways, where its ride is quiet and stable. In a Brazilian urban environment, however, size imposes limitations, especially in parking spaces and narrow roads.

citiesOff the asphalt, Tremor demonstrates great capacity. On dirt tracks, mud and uneven terrain, the suspension and traction system work efficiently, overcoming obstacles with ease, even without constantly resorting to the reduced one.
The Ford F-150 Tremor today occupies the space left by models like the Ram 1500 Rebel, offering a similar proposal: aggressive look, real off-road capability and a high level of technology. It is positioned as an option for those who want a full-size pickup with a more brutal personality, without giving up comfort and sophistication.
