With the right to an ADAS package and speakers in the headrests, Nissan Versa 2027 debuts a renewed look in Mexico before arriving in Brazil
Nissan officially presented the new Nissan Versa 2027 in Mexico. The medium-compact sedan, one of the brand’s sales pillars in the region, has undergone a deep visual renovation, in line with the manufacturer’s new global design language. As the model sold in Brazil is imported directly from the Mexican unit in Aguascalientes, the facelift should land on national soil throughout 2026, consolidating Nissan’s modernization strategy here.

The main change of this second restyling focuses on the front. The Versa abandons the traditional “V-Motion” grille in favor of an optical set divided into two levels, with LED daytime running lights at the top and main headlights integrated into the grille — a style directly inherited from the new generation of Kicks. At the rear, Nissan made a functional change: the license plate holder was moved from the trunk lid to the bumper, giving the part a cleaner look. New 17-inch alloy wheels with aerodynamic design complete the package in the top versions.

Inside, the focus is on technological refinement and user experience. The sedan now offers headrests with integrated Bose speakers, an immersive audio feature usually restricted to higher categories. The instrument panel now has a configurable 7-inch digital screen, while the multimedia center has grown to 12.3 inches, offering wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

In terms of safety, the model expands its driver assistance package: the Versa 2027 incorporates items such as adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert. Under the hood, Nissan chose to keep the current mechanical set, prioritizing reliability: the 1.6-liter aspirated engine with 120 hp and 15,2 kgfm of torque remains, coupled to the CVT-type automatic transmission.
In Brazil, the expectation is that prices will remain competitive in relation to the current ones, which today vary between R$ 117,990 and R$ 146,990, positioning the Versa as a sophisticated alternative to national compact sedans.
