The brand's two medium SUVs, the Leapmotor B10 and the C10, will be produced at Stellatis' Pernambuco plant in Goiana
After the launch of the C10, Leapmotor arrives with another model for the Brazilian market, the B10, which takes over as the brand’s entry-level SUV. Despite being a simpler car and having a reduced equipment list compared to its older brother, it brings interesting news and important corrections.
In addition to the launch of the B10, the Chinese brand announced the national production of its two SUVs at the Stellantis plant in Goiana (PE), where other models such as Toro, Rampage and Compass are produced. In the production unit, an ultra-hybrid flex version of the engine that equips the C10 will also be manufactured.

The president of Stellantis in South America, Herlander Zola, also revealed that another Chinese model should arrive in 2027, the C16. These news come along with the announcement of Leapmotor as Palmeiras’ master sponsor.

The Leapmotor B10 uses a 56.2 kWh battery, with a range of 288 km (PBEV-Inmetro) and up to 160 kW of power. When recharging, the SUV supports up to 11 kW in alternating current (AC) stations and up to 140 kW in direct current (DC). Fast recharging from 30% to 80% is done in 16 minutes.
Its set uses the same 218 hp and 24,47 kgfm rear electric motor as the C10. Acceleration from 0 km/h to 100 km/h is done in eight seconds, its top speed is 170 km/h and the model also has an oil cooling system.
The B10 has McPherson front suspension and Multilink independent rear, in addition to a differential: rear-wheel drive architecture with 50-50 weight distribution between the axles.

When it comes to design, the Leapmotor resembles its bigger brother and draws attention with a rounded front end, 18″ alloy wheels and Wing Star-style automatic full LED headlights, which give the model personality. At the rear, the highlight goes to the LED taillights, also the Wing Star design and the model also has a large panoramic sunroof of 1.8 m² with electric curtain.

Inside, it has soft-touch finishes mixed with plastic parts, an 8.8″ instrument panel and a 14.6″ Leap One multimedia center with a fast-processing Snapdragon chip and the long-awaited Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, which was missing in the C10 brother.

The seats, despite not being electrically adjustable, have OEKO TEX certification, a seal attesting to the quality of the fabric that is safe for health and hypoallergenic. A positive point for those who like to travel or carry several things in the car is the generous amount of 22 storage compartments, in addition to a large niche on the dashboard.
The Leap One multimedia center, called by the brand Embedded Tablet, has the novelty of wireless mirroring and Over the Air update a personalized function. The user can adjust various settings and create ‘routines’ that are recorded on the device, a system similar to that of smart homes.
Like the C10, the model is opened with an NFC card or by cell phone. Through the smartphone, it is also possible to remotely control functions such as location, programming of navigation routes, air conditioning and electric windows. It is also possible to monitor vehicle consumption, battery charge, charging schedule, among others.

In terms of safety, it has seven airbags and a complete ADAS package with intelligent cruise control, lane centering, collision detection and front braking, rear collision alert, cross traffic alert with braking, among other functions.
