The two SUVs are plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and place the Chinese brand in one of the most competitive segments of the domestic market
Jetour presented two of its PHEV SUVs (plug-in or rechargeable hybrid) to complete the first stage of launches in Brazil: the T1 and T2. Both have as a differential the look with off-road appeal – “inspired” by classics of the category – and the good package of standard items as attractions to hook the consumer in the competitive segment of SUVs between R$ 200 thousand and R$ 300 thousand.
Both models are on pre-sale and the first units will begin to be delivered from March.

The two versions of the Jetour T1 have the same hybrid mechanical set that combines a 1.5 turbo gasoline engine, which delivers 135 hp of power and 20,4 kgfm of torque, to an electric motor of 204 hp and 31,6 kgfm. The management of this set is carried out by the 1-DHT transmission and the drive is only front-wheel drive. With this set, the T1 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8,7 seconds and has a combined torque of 52 kgfm.

The hybrid system’s battery has a capacity of 26.7 kWh, which provides a range of 88 km in EV (“purely electric”) mode. Considering the hybrid mode, the combined consumption is 13 km/l (12.2 km/l on the highway and 13.6 km/l in the city). Also according to figures released by Jetour, Combining the fuel tank (70 liters) and battery (26.7 kWh) capacities, the T1 can reach up to 1,200 km.
At direct current (DC) stations, the Jetour T1 recharges from 20% to 80% in approximately 42 minutes. In wall chargers – alternating current (AC) – the recharge time is about 2 hours and 24 minutes. At 3.4 kW AC outlets, the T1 completes the recharge in approximately 7 hours and 54 minutes. The maximum energy absorption capacity of the T1 battery in DC mode is up to 40 kW/h, and in AC charging, 6.6 kW/h.

The Jetour T1 is 4,705 mm long, 1,967 mm wide, 2,800 mm wheelbase and 1,843 mm high. The trunk has a capacity of 574 liters and, with the rear seat folded down, increases to 1,455 liters.
The suspension is independent on all four wheels – McPherson at the front and multilink at the rear. The wheels are 19 inches.

The Jetour T2 is a PHEV SUV sold in two versions: Advance and Premium and are differentiated by the package of standard items. Prices are:
The two versions of the T2 have a plug-in hybrid system that combines the 1.5 turbo direct injection combustion engine that delivers 135 hp of power and 20,4 kgfm of torque, with two additional electric motors, of 102 hp and 17,33 kgfm and 122 hp and 22,43 kgfm.
Combined, these three engines result in maximum torque of 62,2 kgfm. The maximum combined power was not disclosed. The system is managed by the three-speed transmission (3-DHT) and the drive is front-wheel drive only.

According to Inmetro, the battery range of the Jetour T2 is 75 kilometers. Considering the hybrid mode, the combined consumption is 11 km/l (10.5 km/l on the highway and 11.4 km/l in the city). The T2’s fuel tank has a capacity of 70 liters and the battery has 26.7 kWh. The total range is up to 1,100 km and the Jetour SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.
At direct current (DC) stations, T2 needs 42 minutes to go from 20% to 80% charge. On AC chargers, the recharge time is about 2 hours and 24 minutes. In residential outlets, the T2 recharges in 7 hours and 54 minutes. The T2 battery has the capacity to receive up to 40 kW/h (DC charging). In wall chargers (AC) it absorbs up to 6.6 kW/h and, in conventional sockets, 3.4 kW/h.

Jetour announced that it will soon sell in Brazil, but without setting a date, the Jetor T2 with 4×4 traction.
Brand executives justify the initial choice only for versions with 4×2 traction based on research that points out that less than 20% of consumers opt for 4×4 configurations in models that are offered with both options.
The Jetour T2 has a width of 2,006 mm and a length of 4,785 mm. The height is 1,875 mm and the wheelbase, 2.80 meters. The trunk has a capacity of 580 liters and can reach 1,494 liters with the rear seat folded down.

The suspension is independent on all four wheels with McPherson at the front and multilink at the rear. The Jetour T2 Advance uses 19-inch alloy wheels with 255/60 tires. The Premium version has 20-inch wheels with 255/55 tires.
The Jetour T2 Advance comes standard, as a highlight, a 15.6-inch multimedia center, compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, voice commands and AM/FM radio. The panel has a 10.3-inch digital cluster, an audio system with eight speakers, a 50 W induction charger, in addition to six USB ports and two 12 V outlets.














The model offers a steering wheel with height and distance adjustment, electronic parking brake with Auto Hold function, keyless access and start, electrically adjustable, folding and heating mirrors, electrochromic interior mirror, electric windows with “one touch” function and laminated front windows, which contribute to a quieter, safer cabin with UV protection.
There is two-zone automatic air conditioning with rear outlets, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, electrically adjustable front seats, memory and ventilation and rear armrest. In maneuvers, the T2 has rear sensors and front, rear and side cameras, integrated with the Parking Assistant with Transparent Chassis 540°, which facilitates the visualization of the surroundings and the underside of the vehicle in situations of low visibility.

The Jetour T2 Premium has, as differentials, 20-inch alloy wheels, 255/55 R20 tires, painted finish and yellow details, in addition to an illuminated Jetour strip between the headlights and projections on the exterior mirrors. The interior receives a Sony sound system with 12 speakers, front parking sensors, ambient lighting with selectable colors, illuminated sills and electric adjustment of the driver’s seat with 10
Both the Jetour T1 and Jetour T2 arrive with an eight-year or 160,000 km warranty for the battery and electric motors and seven years or 150,000 km for the complete vehicle. Another differential of the Jetour SUV is that it arrives with fixed prices for the first 10 revisions.
