SUV receives 48V technology to reduce consumption and 272 hp engine now accepts ethanol; Safety package becomes standard on the entire range
The Jeep Commander arrived in the 2027 line with important news. The main change is the arrival of the 48V mild-hybrid system replacing the purely combustion configurations in part of the catalog. In addition, the 2.0 turbo engine of the Hurricane family now runs on gasoline or alcohol.

The Limited and Overland versions of the Commander are now equipped with the 48-volt MHEV system. The mild hybrid technology uses an electric generator that recovers kinetic energy under braking to assist the T270 turboflex engine. According to data from the manufacturer, the change allows a 9.4% reduction in consumption, with an urban average of 11 km/l of gasoline. Vehicles with this technology are exempt from municipal rotation in São Paulo and tax benefits in some states.

In the high-performance range, the Blackhawk version now uses the Hurricane 2.0T engine in a flex version. With 272 hp and 40,8 kgfm, the model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7 seconds. The 200 hp 2.2 Turbodiesel option remains available with 4×4 traction, aimed at use on rough terrain.

The driver assistance package (ADAS Level 2), which includes autonomous braking and lane centering, is now standard on all versions. The interior finish maintains the use of materials such as leather and suede, with a Harman Kardon sound system available in the top configurations. There was a reduction of R$ 6,5 in the price of the Blackhawk version.
