Video that shows a version aimed at people with disabilities goes viral and generates outrage on social media; check out Hyundai's statement
In recent days, a video has gone viral showing a Hyundai Creta Action zero-km being delivered with a hole in the dashboard, where the multimedia center would be. This is the cheapest version of the Creta, sold for R$ 119.990 and aimed at the PwD public. The cost savings are natural, but the exaggeration in ‘simplicity’ earned criticism from internet users, who pointed out an apparent neglect.
Hyundai, however, spoke out, and explained that the Creta units delivered with exposed wiring were the result of an internal problem. To AutoPapo, the company explained that, “in relation to the absence of the cover to close the instrument panel, there was a logistical delay in the delivery of this part, which is imported”.
The brand also explained to the report that customers who received the car like this will have the proper repair. “Customers who received their vehicles without the proper closure of the dashboard will be contacted to schedule the proper installation of the cover as soon as possible,” he informed.

Hyundai announced the relaunch of the Creta Action in February as the entry-level version focused on sales for people with disabilities with as much tax exemption as possible.
With a reduced price of R$ 119.990, the SUV no longer has a hand of a series of equipment compared to other versions, including multimedia. Compared to the Comfort Safety version, the entry-level version misses:
On the other hand, the model has six airbags (front, side and curtain), electronic traction and stability controls (ESP), ramp start assistant, tire pressure monitoring and 16″ alloy wheels. Among the comfort items, the SUV has air conditioning, autopilot, face-to-face key with push-button start and start-stop system.
At the time of purchase, dealerships offer, as an accessory, a multimedia center with an 8-inch screen and compatibility with Android Auto and wireless Apple Carplay, very similar to the version that equips the Comfort Safety version (R$ 156.590). It costs between R$ 6,000 and R$ 7,000 at dealerships.
