The highlight of the last month of the year was Nissan's compact SUV, which changed its name after undergoing plastic surgery
Nissan did not participate in the Motor Show and seems to have waited for the event to end to show its other big launch of 2025: the Kait. It treated it as a global novelty, but in reality it is a restyling of the old Kicks Play.
The compact SUV has changed at the front, at the rear and had the dashboard redesigned. Some elements, such as the digital dashboard, came from the new Kicks, others are still old. The engine remains the aspirated 1.6, being an alternative for those who want an entry-level SUV and don’t want a 1.0 turbo.

The list of December launches was very discreet apart from the Kait: Lexus brought its electric RZ 500e and Lamborghini started selling the Temerario officially in Brazil.
With that, the year was closed after so many twists and turns. Don’t think you’ve stopped, 2026 looks like it will be at the same pace.

With the line composed only of hybrids, Lexus launched its first electric car in Brazil. The RZ 500e is a coupe SUV that is in a very competitive price range, which has models from premium, Chinese and even Western generalist brands.
Nissan used the old formula of updating an old model, the Kicks Play, to be sold alongside the new generation. Along with the new look came a different name, Kait. The store bath brought some new features to the interior, ADAS package with adaptive cruise control, 9-inch Pioneer multimedia center and the updated look. But the engine is still the naturally aspirated 1.6 that has lost power since it debuted a few years ago.

Lamborghini is officially in Brazil and launched the Temerario, its entry-level supercar, in December. It arrived in place of the Huracán, bringing a twin-turbo V8 in place of the naturally aspirated V10. It is aided by three electric motors, with a focus on improving performance.
