The manufacturers gave new cars a break after a busy start to the year, but successful cars were improved
Cars that are successful in the market need to undergo renovations to remain relevant. This is what happened in the restyling of the Jeep Commander, the Fiat Toro and the Ram 3500, whose launches were in August 2025.
All have gained changes, styling touch-ups and cabin improvements. As the national duo received changes in mechanics at the beginning of the year due to legislation, only the big Ram had news in this regard.

August also marked the launch of the GWM Ora 03 BEV58, an intermediate version of the electric hatch that reduces the distance between the Skin and the GT. Another one that gained a version in 2025 was the Honda City, with the Touring Sport.
For those who like sports cars, the Ford Mustang started to be imported to Brazil in the Dark Horse version from August. It has a 10 hp stronger engine and improvements to the chassis to be sharper.
Jeep promoted the first restyling of the Commander with the 2026 line. The model range was reorganized, with the end of the 5-seat Longitude version and the Overland with Hurricane engine. Now the strongest engine is limited to the Blackhawk sports car. Other than that, the changes were aesthetic, with new bumpers, headlights and taillights.
Fiat performed another face-lift on the Toro, this time the most extensive since the launch. As the mechanics were updated at the turn of the year, the focus here was on design and also the adoption of new features. The main one was the electronic parking brake, which came along with discs on the rear axle.
The new intermediate version of the GWM Ora O3 is treated as a special edition, just like the Haval H6 One. It has a larger battery than the Skin and smaller than the GT, but already with a greater autonomy than the rival BYD Dolphin. The good safety and equipment package remains unchanged.
The top-of-the-line model of the Honda City hatch gained a sporty version, but only in the look. It comes only with the Supernova red paint and adds the roof painted in black, chrome exhaust tips and metal pedals.
Ram has updated its big ones with a focus on the engine. The 2500 and 3500 models gained an even stronger version of the Cummins 6.7 inline six, which now exceeds 400 hp and has almost 150 kgfm.
The Ford Mustang now arrives in an even more powerful version, the Dark Horse. The gains in the engine were few, with power rising from 492 hp to 507 hp, but the chassis received special attention to be even closer to a thoroughbred sports car.
Zeekr has expanded its lineup in Brazil with the 7X, a large luxury SUV. It sits in the middle of the range, above the X and below the 001, rivaling the Audi Q6 e-tron.
