The electric car market in Brazil has been growing annually, led by Chinese hatchbacks up to R$ 150 thousand. In the luxury segment, the demand for this engine has also grown, with models such as the Volvo EX30.

Although some brands have managed to get their electric cars done well, some still suffer difficulties. In the official price lists there are some well-forgotten models.

Some of these electric cars that no one remembers have been stranded for a few years. We list 10 of the most forgotten, there are cars sold zero km that were imported in 2022!

1. BYD Han

  • Price: R$ 559.800
  • Range: 349 km
  • Power: 517 hp
  • Registrations in 2025: 9

BYD has been present in Brazil since 2015 selling buses, vans and solar panels. It only started selling passenger cars to the general public in 2022 with the Tan SUV and the Han sedan.

The Tan even had a good demand for a Chinese electric car of R$ 400 thousand, but the Han was not so lucky. The sedan is still available at zero km dealerships, with units imported in 2023.

The list price is R$ 559.800, the most expensive of the brand. The sedan uses an electric motor for each axle, which totals 517 hp. It accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, while the range is 349 km.

The car is so forgotten that it has no discounts, the technical sheet on the official website uses a photo of the Yuan Plus and the multimedia center does not have mirroring for smartphones. Only 9 units were registered in 2025.

2. Fiat 500e

  • Price: R$ 214.990
  • Range: 227 km
  • Power: 118 hp
  • Registrations in 2025: 12

Fiat brought the 500e with the proposal of being a more luxurious urban electric car. It came with an ADAS package, neat finish, key that can be used as a bracelet and panoramic sunroof.

This proposal for a stylish electric hatch worked better for Mini, as Fiat continues to have imported units in 2022 in stock. The high price and low autonomy scared customers. But for those looking for a used one, prices are lower than those of an automatic Argo.

3. Chevrolet Blazer EV

  • Price: R$ 503.190
  • Range: 481 km
  • Power: 347 hp
  • Registrations in 2025: 132

Chevrolet launched the Blazer EV and Equinox EV to compete against Volvo, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz in the premium electric car segment. But it lacked agreement with customers, because no matter how good these cars are, the tie on the grille does not refer to luxury.

The Blazer EV was the one that sold the least of this duo, with only 132 units. Some of them were ceded by GM to the fleet of the presidency of the republic. It will be like the Chevrolet Omega, which was forgotten by the general public and easier to find in the parking lots of Brasilia.

4. Hyundai Ioniq 5

  • Price: R$ 409.990
  • Range: 374 km
  • Power: 325 hp
  • Registrations in 2025: 72

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is a success with audiences and critics outside Brazil, but this segment where it operates is not so strong here. Therefore, its registrations were weak even though it was a good product.

5. Mercedes-Benz EQB

  • Price: R$ 399.900
  • Range: 376 km
  • Power: 190 hp
  • Registrations in 2025: 64

We could have put any Mercedes-Benz electric car here. We chose the EQB because it is a car that has more potential, as it is the cheapest seven-seater electric car in Brazil.

It’s a bit of a dubious title, as the other two electrics with three rows of seats are much larger: BYD Tan, Kia EV9 and Volvo EX90. Still, the EQB is not a Spin with batteries, as it is still a Mercedes.

6. GAC Aion ES

  • Price: R$ 170.990
  • Range: 314 km
  • Power: 136 hp
  • Registrations in 2025: 38

GAC debuted in Brazil with five different models, one of which was the Aion ES sedan. It came with the proposal of being an electric car aimed at taxi drivers and app drivers.

This works in China, but in Brazil it didn’t stick. It was GAC’s least-selling car in Brazil, behind even the luxurious Hyptec HT.

7. BMW iX

Even forgotten, the iX remains the car with the longest autonomy in Brazil (Photo: BMW | Disclosure)
  • Price: R$ 727.950
  • Range: 498 km
  • Power: 326 hp
  • Registrations in 2025: 107

The BMW iX is the electric car with the longest range available in Brazil, with 498 km in the Inmetro cycle. But to run all this on a charge, you have to pay more than R$ 700 thousand on the xDrive 40 model, the top of the line M60 can exceed R$ 1 million.

This electric car is forgotten in Brazil, but it is a luxurious SUV that impresses. It has a dynamic soundtrack composed by Hans Zimer that plays the role of the simulated “engine roar” that exists in other cars.

8. Ford Mustang Mach-E

  • Price: R$ 449.000
  • Range: 379 km
  • Power: 487 hp
  • Registrations in 2025: 63

The Ford Mustang Mach-E was a controversial car as it used the pony car’s name on an electric SUV. Even with an aggressive look, strong performance and costing less than the coupe equipped with the V8, the electric did not take off in Brazil.

9. Renault Megane E-Tech

  • Price: R$ 279.990
  • Range: 337 km
  • Power: 220 hp
  • Registrations in 2025: 36

The Renault Megane E-Tech is an excellent electric car: good to drive, with good ergonomics, balanced performance and a range of over 300 km. However, the price of R$ 279.990 scared buyers, as it was in the range of the prestigious Volvo EX30.

Today the hatch is sold for the promotional price of R$ 200 thousand, making it a good option. Few people saw this opportunity in 2025, only 36 units were licensed.

10. JAC E-J7

  • Price: R$ 259.900
  • Range: 249 km
  • Power: 193 hp
  • Registrations in 2025: 2

JAC was a pioneer in turning the key to electric cars and has a very comprehensive line of cars: hatchback, SUV, sedan, pickup, vans and trucks. Its sedan, the E-J7, is a medium-large that came to the executive public.

It sold only two units in 2025, JAC’s flagship remains the small E-JS1.
