155 cm³ Japanese sports bike expands the visual range and maintains the suggested public price of R$ 23.490, excluding shipping
Yamaha has announced the arrival of the new R-White color (Metallic White) for the R15 ABS 2026 in the Brazilian market. The novelty is exclusively aesthetic and is now part of the range alongside the already known X-Black (Matte Black) and Racing Blue (Metallic Blue), with no changes in the mechanical set, price or equipment of the brand’s entry-level sports car.

In the new configuration, the R15 ABS 2026 adopts a metallic white finish with gray and bronze details, reinforcing the visual appeal of the model, which is still inspired by the DNA of the R-Series family. The fairings maintain the development in a wind tunnel, with a layered structure designed to optimize airflow and reduce turbulence in the driver’s helmet region, contributing to better aerodynamic efficiency.
In the mechanical set, the sports car remains equipped with a 155 cm³ single-cylinder engine, with liquid cooling and Variable Valve Actuation System (VVA). The engine delivers 18.8 hp at 10.000 rpm and torque of 1.5 kgf.m at 8.500 rpm. The VVA system adjusts the operation of the valves according to the rotation, seeking to combine good performance at medium and high revs with efficiency and agile responses at low speeds, a characteristic that favors both urban and road use.

The gearbox is six-speed and has an assist and slipper clutch, a common feature on motorcycles with larger engines, which reduces effort on the lever and prevents the rear wheel from locking in sudden reductions, increasing control and comfort in daily riding.
In efficiency, the Yamaha R15 ABS 2026 registers consumption of up to 54.7 km/l in urban use, according to tests by the Mauá Institute of Technology. With an 11-liter tank, the autonomy can reach about 600 kilometers, depending on the conditions of use.
The Deltabox chassis is accompanied by front suspension with a 41 mm telescopic fork and 130 mm travel, while the rear uses a monocross system with an aluminum scale and 97 mm travel. The brakes are disc brakes on both wheels, both with ABS, with a 282 mm disc at the front and 220 mm at the rear. The 17-inch alloy wheels wear 100/80 tires at the front and 140/70 at the rear.

Among the equipment, the model maintains full LED lighting, including headlight, taillight and position light, as well as a headlight flasher. The dashboard is fully digital, with LED lighting and a white background, displaying tachometer, speedometer, gear indicator, fuel level, average and instantaneous consumption, VVA indicator and adjustable Shift Light, in addition to several on-board functions aimed at economy and control of riding.
The Yamaha R15 ABS 2026 is now available at the brand’s dealerships in three color options, with a suggested public price of R$ 23.490, without shipping. The model has a three-year warranty and a Fixed Price Review program.
