The Royal Enfield Classic 650 was launched by the manufacturer in November 2024, during Eicma. At the time, it was the brand’s big news for the following year and, as in the rest of the world, it now arrives in Brazil to pair with the Super Meteor 650, which is also the bigger sister of a 350 of the brand.

Equipped with the same 650 engine present in all other medium-sized vehicles of the brand, the Royal Enfield Classic 650 continues with the 648 cm³ parallel twin, which debuts on the motorcycle with a new adjustment, with more torque at low revs.

According to the model’s technical sheet in other countries, there are 47 hp of power and 5,3 kgfm of torque. The force value is slightly lower than that of the newcomer Bear 650, which leads one to think that the engine adjustment (also favoring low revs) is slightly different.

In terms of technology, it comes with conventional lights (halogen) on the turn signals, but an LED set on the headlight. The interactive dashboard has an odometer, trip meter, fuel level indicator, service reminder, gear position indicator and clock.

But the great highlight of the model is in the aesthetics. At the launch of the bike, Royal Enfield stated that the new 650 arrived with a real idea of preserving the class and history of the brand, adding all this to its beauty. Its vintage fuel tank, round retro-style headlights, curved fenders, in addition to chrome details and practically all the elements that make up the body of the bike, reaffirm this commitment.

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 has shorter, sportier, forward-sloping fenders. Its chassis is the same as the Super Meteor and the Shotgun 650, and the dual seats have the option of removing the pillion seat. The wider tires close the largest points of structure of the bike.

In color, the new bike brings back what was already present in the Classic 500 in the middle of the last century. The shades are Vallam Red, Teal Green and Black Chrome.

  • The manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the UK starts at £6,649, in the colour Vallam Red.

This amount is equivalent to just over R$ 46 thousand in direct conversion, considering the current market price. However, it is very likely that the bike will reach around R$ 34 thousand, prices equivalent to those of all the other 650 engine and platform sisters here in Brazil.
