Suzuki presented in Europe the 2026 line of the GSX-R125, an updated version of the Japanese brand’s low-displacement sports car. The model maintains the well-known mechanical set and preserves the main standard equipment, reinforcing its positioning as an option aimed at urban and light road use, with a look inspired by the larger supersports of the GSX-R family. If it were offered in Brazil, it would have the Yamaha R15 as a direct rival, despite the displacement difference.

In Europe, motorcycles of up to 125 cm³ and maximum power 15 hp fall into the A1 license category. The GSX-R125 2026 meets this limit while remaining within the requirements of local legislation.

The sports car is equipped with a 124 cm³ single-cylinder engine, with liquid cooling and double overhead camshaft (DOHC). The maximum declared power is 15 hp at approximately 10,000 rpm, while torque reaches 1,17 kgf·m at 8,000 rpm. The transmission is a six-speed manual, with chain final drive.

According to data from the European homologation cycle, the model registers an average consumption of approximately 41.7 km/l. The fuel tank has a capacity of 11 liters, which allows a theoretical autonomy of more than 450 kilometers in ideal conditions.

In the chassis set, the GSX-R125 2026 uses a tubular chassis, telescopic front suspension and rear monoshock. The wheels are 17 inches, with tires measuring 90/80 at the front and 130/70 at the rear. The braking system has a 290 mm disc at the front and 187 mm at the rear, both with Bosch ABS as standard. The curb weight is 134 kg.

Among the equipment, the sports bike features Full LED lighting, a digital LCD panel and a Suzuki Easy Start system with keyless start.

In Europe, the starting price is approximately 4,190 euros, which may vary depending on the country and the local tax burden. In direct conversion, the amount is equivalent to about R$ 25,700, without considering import costs or additional taxes. So far, there is no official confirmation about the commercialization of the model in the Brazilian market.
