Last Wednesday (11), a notification made by Abraciclo directed to Shineray came to light . The document, promulgated at the end of 2025 (which gained relevance after a public statement by the Association), states that the collective entity “received alerts from its members about possible serious irregularities in motorcycles from a supplier inserted in the market. The suspicions involve risks to the consumer, the environment, fair competition and safe traffic.”
The indictment also specifies that items for the equipment of motorcycles and to minimize the emission of polluting gases, such as catalytic converters and canisters, would be outside the brand’s manufacturing process.

In the midst of the news, AutoPapo contacted Shineray, questioning the veracity of the information contained in the notification, the quality of the brand’s products and requesting a formal opinion.
Regarding the notification registered with the Ministry of Justice and Public Security and the questions forwarded, Shineray said that it “chooses not to comment on the questions”.
Although it has not taken a position on the lawsuit against it, Shineray reinforced its commitment and stated that all the technical details of its vehicles are freely accessible on its website.
We reinforce that Shineray do Brasil’s products strictly follow the technical, normative and legal standards required by the competent bodies, being fully regular.
We clarify that all official information regarding the brand’s portfolio, including models sold and their technical specifications, is publicly available and updated on the automaker’s official website.”
The manufacturer has 20 calendar days to present official and technical clarifications, counted from the receipt of the subpoena.
The company must express itself especially about the alleged risks to the health and safety of the consumer; possible excess emissions of pollutants and noise; compliance of products with current environmental and technical standards; and the integrity of the information provided to the consumer.
If the company does not respond, the process may continue with the continuation of the investigation and possible adoption of appropriate legal measures.
