Newly unveiled Continental GT 750 should arrive in 2026; With the new platform it will be more powerful and stronger, but without losing the coffee characteristic
Royal Enfield may be moving forward with the development of its new Continental GT with a 750 cm³ engine. A prototype that would be being tested in India reinforces the indications that the manufacturer is working on a new platform with greater motorization, scheduled to debut from 2026.
The Royal Enfield “Continental GT 750” was shown for the first time during the Motoverse 2025 in India.

Although there is still no official confirmation about the model, Royal Enfield itself has already publicly acknowledged the development of a new family of motorcycles equipped with 750 cm³ engines. Within this planning, the Continental GT 750 emerges as one of the most likely candidates to join the new generation, according to the Indian specialized press.
The future platform should adopt a new parallel twin-cylinder engine, positioned above the current 650 cm³ set. Today, the Continental GT 650 delivers 46.8 hp of power and 5.3 kgf.m of torque, numbers that should be surpassed with the increase in displacement.

The new mechanical base, however, should not be restricted to the GT line. Other projects already observed in tests and exhibitions indicate that Royal Enfield intends to use the 750 engine in different proposals, including the long-awaited Himalayan 750, known informally as the “Big Himalayan”, whose presentation is expected at EICMA 2026.
If confirmed, the Continental GT 750 will represent another step for Royal Enfield, which has been expanding its portfolio with the tactic of creating even larger variants of existing motorcycles, such as the Super Meteor and the Classic 650.
