Segment grows with affordable options, bringing together classic-style motorcycles, simple engines and prices below R$ 35 thousand in Brazil
Custom motorcycles have come back into fashion in Brazil in recent years. After all, the segment, little explored, began to yield a lot for the Indian Royal Enfield since its official arrival in 2017. As a result, competitors did not want to be left behind and, especially, newer manufacturers looking to reinvent themselves have been betting on style.

Royal Enfield’s thinking was very effective: to get away from high-cost custom motorcycles and bet on simple and elegant road bikes. However, several other manufacturers have also jumped on this bandwagon, so much so that not even the Indian has the cheapest custom motorcycle in Brazil. For the curious, we list below which of them have the best price and we can already say that it is a Chinese one.

The Zontes S 350 is the first in descending order on this list of the cheapest custom motorcycles in Brazil.
The model arrived in Brazil in 2023, with an old 300 engine. Now, updated in 2024, it has a 348 cm³ engine, which maintains the same architecture as the old 312, but now with the capacity to reach 41 hp of power and 3,34 kgfm of torque.
The design, the technological set with LED lights, ABS, complete digital panel and, above all, the aesthetics caught the country’s attention at the brand’s debut, which unfortunately to date has not geared up very well in sales. Regardless of everything, the model is an option for those looking for a custom with a more modern aesthetic and with features that are not basic.

The Royal Enfield Continental GT is one of the most classic and beloved among the cheapest custom motorcycles in Brazil. The entire aesthetic set, added to the affordable value for an intermediate engine, puts the model on a privileged level.
In the engine, the custom has two cylinders in line, four strokes and 648 cm³, a set that reaches a power of 47,4 hp and torque of 5,3 kgfm.
The rest of the bike’s body is robust but simple, without full LED lighting, driving assistants or at least a digital panel, which perhaps justifies the value.

Made on the same basis as the Continental GT is the Interceptor 650. The models are so similar that they are called twin twins and are far from each other only by finish and dimensions.
The difference between the sisters is in height and width, as the Royal Enfield Interceptor is larger than the Continental GT. Therefore, the tank of the smallest is 12.5 liters and the other 13.7 liters, in addition to the weight, where they are 214 kg and 217 kg, respectively.

Often the most licensed in the segment, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is the clear representation of what the average Brazilian is looking for in a motorcycle: simple and classic style at an affordable price.
Like several others from the brand, this custom has gained the public’s trust for its resistance. As much as its simple 349 cm³ engine reaches only 20,2 hp and, therefore, does not take it to very high speeds (being accused of lower speed than 160 models), it is in the torque of 2,7 kgfm that it wins. Good output, stability, medium size and comfort (with the exception of the brand’s hard levers).

Shineray was also not left out of this dispute for the cheapest custom motorcycles in Brazil.
The Chinese brand, which was used to simpler models, is planning to reinvent itself and, as a result, three custom models were brought to the Brazilian market at the end of 2024.
Developed by Lifan, the Shineray Titanium has a V-twin twin-cylinder engine, capable of 19 hp of power and 1,8 kgfm of torque, simple numbers even for a 250.
As much as its aesthetics are somewhat different, the model tries to get the compositions right, with elegant air intakes on the side, fenders on both wheels, disc brakes with ABS and a sophisticated finish in the position lights and signaling.

Like the Royal Enfield sisters, the Denver also resembles the Titanium, although smaller than the Indian ones.
The Denver 250 is a cruiser that looks even more like a classic custom. Its headlight and rounded lights, mixed panel, chrome details, split seat and other elements give the model a period charm.
Its engine has the same settings as its Titanium sister, and it is possible to notice other similarities, such as the size of the brakes and the suspension assembly. In terms of performance figures, as well as pricing, they are equal.

Returning to the Indians, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 is what is on the market in terms of sophistication and elegance.
Like all the manufacturer’s motorcycles, the model is rich in color variations. In this one, chrome still takes place in many parts, and even military-style models are sold from the factory.
Under the tank, a 349 cm³ single-cylinder engine, cooled by air and oil, which delivers 20.2 hp of power at 6.100 rpm and torque of 2.75 kgfm at 4.000 rpm.

Shineray’s triad ends with another 250, the Iron. Although cheaper than its brand sisters, the model, also simpler, delivers efficiency and technology.
In the engine, it has 249.60 cm³ of displacement, in a single-cylinder four-stroke in-line, capable of reaching 27.9 hp at 9.000 rpm and torque of 2.3 kgfm at 7.000 rpm. Its gearbox is six-speed, and the highlight here is the liquid cooling system.
In the rest of the body, the model has a similar level of sophistication, containing LED lighting in the headlight and rear lights, ABS brakes and a mixed panel integrated into the tank.

Almost at the bottom of the list is the model that, by a mistake, for many would be the cheapest custom motorcycle in Brazil: the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
The model hit the market in 2023 and drew attention for being a 350 priced below R$ 20 thousand.
The Indian maintains this level and still has disc brakes and ABS on both wheels, in addition to a much more interesting chassis than the urban classics. Although with simple halogen lights, an analog panel and no connectivity system (which balances costs), the model comes out ahead of many everyday and smaller motorcycles.

The Haojue Master Ride is, in a way, the successor to the classic and beloved Chopper Road 150. Although it is not as cheap as its late partner, the Master Ride 150 is currently the cheapest custom motorcycle in Brazil.
With a slightly more modern look than the conventional classic 150, it abuses chrome. Its robust set for the category has a seat support for the pillion and a protruding headlight.
From the factory, it can already be ordered with several options, such as engine protector, sump guard and side bags. Its 149 cm³ engine is capable of 15.2 hp and 1.16 kgfm.
