While urban models continue to dominate the market and the dispute between naked wins a new chapter in the ranking of the best sellers in Brazil
The Brazilian motorcycle market started 2026 at a heated pace. In February, there were 171,508 motorcycles registered in the country, a number higher than that recorded in the same period of 2025, when 155,954 units were licensed. The result of the ranking of the best-selling motorcycles in Brazil represents a relevant growth in the annual comparison and reinforces the sector’s expansion trend.

According to the ranking of the National Federation of Automotive Vehicle Distribution – Fenabrave -, in general everything remains as expected and changes appear in few aspects.
The data show that the volume of registrations continues to be supported mainly by models with higher volume, such as motorcycles for urban and utility use. In this scenario, the Honda CG 160 remains the best-selling model in the country within the City category, maintaining a wide advantage over competitors.

The change takes place in naked/roadster motorcycles, where the leadership belongs to Yamaha MT-03. The model was in second place in the overall ranking of 2025, but since January it has remained the best-selling motorcycle in Brazil in the category.
The motorcycle accumulates 1,380 units registered in the first two months of the year, ahead of the Bajaj Dominar D400, which adds up to 1,207 sales.
In addition to the leaders, the ranking shows an increasingly balanced dispute between different manufacturers, with brands such as Bajaj, Royal Enfield, BMW, Triumph and Shineray expanding their presence in several categories.
In addition to the traditional leaders, the survey shows an increasingly competitive market. Manufacturers such as Bajaj, Royal Enfield, BMW, Triumph and Shineray gradually expand their presence in the different categories of the ranking of the best-selling motorcycles in Brazil.
With new launches planned throughout the year and the continuous growth in demand for motorcycles, the expectation of the sector is that 2026 will maintain the pace of expansion, further boosting the dispute between the main manufacturers in the country.
