Model X 250TH delivers 240 hp has carbon brakes and aerodynamic track solutions, but is exclusive for circuit use
Aprilia has unveiled a supersport bike developed on the basis of the RSV4 and heavily inspired by MotoGP, the Aprilia X 250TH. The model arrives in a limited edition of only 30 units and celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America.
Presented during MotoGP activities at the Circuit of the Americas, the Aprilia X 250TH stands out for both its look and its technical package. The livery follows the theme “Stars and Stripes”, reinforcing the tribute to the North American market, which will have 25 of the 30 units produced.

One of the main differentials of the Aprillia X 250TH is the Brembo carbon-carbon braking system — the same type used in MotoGP. It is an unprecedented solution in a motorcycle available to the public, offering lower weight and consistent performance even in extreme conditions of use.

In the mechanical set, the Aprillia X 250TH uses a 1.099 cm³ V4 engine, capable of delivering around 240 hp at more than 13.700 rpm and torque of 13,31 kgf.m. The engine received specific adjustments, such as increased compression ratio, intake revision and complete titanium exhaust.
With a dry weight of only 165 kg, the weight/power ratio puts the model on a level close to that of competition prototypes.

The aerodynamics of the super sports car derive directly from the Aprilia RS-GP (used in MotoGP). The model has a carbon fiber fairing and several elements aimed at generating downforce, such as front and rear wings and the so-called “seat wings”.
These solutions increase stability at high speeds and improve dynamic behavior when cornering and braking, bringing the riding experience closer to that of a racing bike.
The chassis also reinforces the DNA of the tracks. The Aprillia X 250TH features Öhlins suspension, forged magnesium wheels and Pirelli slick tires used in the Superbike World Championship.

In electronics, the model uses Aprilia Racing’s APX center, fully adjustable, allowing you to configure parameters such as traction control, engine braking and power delivery per gear.
Without homologation for use on public roads, the Aprillia X 250TH is aimed exclusively at tracks or collectors. The package also includes a dedicated laptop for electronic management, as well as accessories such as stands, custom cover and tire warmers.
The Aprillia X 250TH was announced for 115 thousand euros (approximately R$ 691 thousand) or US$ 150 thousand in the United States.
