Former twins Twin, Shotgun, Super Meteor, Bear 650 and now Classic 650; models that have the same engine have different proposals
Royal Enfield is preparing another motorcycle for the Brazilian market and, once again, the brand is betting on its classic 650 engine. Presented worldwide at Eicma 2024, the Royal Enfield Classic 650 should soon land in the country, which increasingly adheres to the Indian’s custom proposal.

The Royal Enfield Classic 65 was confirmed by the manufacturer during the launch of the Bear 650 in February.
The executive director of Royal Enfield Latam, Gabriel Patini, confirmed to AutoPapo that the brand’s new 650 will hit the market in the first half of 2026.
“We believe that the Bear 650 was a motorcycle that was missing from the brand’s mid-range line in Brazil. It will serve the motorcyclist very well on Brazilian roads which, as we know, have their ‘challenges’. Also on dirt roads and on a lighter off-roader. It’s a bike with a lot of versatility.”

In the same interview, we asked the manufacturer about its intentions, after all, a 650 had just arrived and another was already on the way. With the next one, a total of six motorcycles with the same engine will be in Brazil.
650 package already champion in Brazil, inverted Showa suspension, several technologies [panel with connectivity with Google Maps]. We are sure that the bike will be a great success in Brazil.”
The end of the answer about the arrival of Bear justified the arrival of another intermediary, after all, the brand relies on the classic style little explored in the current national market and also on the fact that Brazil is the second country that buys the most Royal Enfield in the world.
To confirm its intention, the manufacturer reiterated the affection it has for this engine, which, even old, is loved.

To make the most of the project, the Bear 650, for example, has undergone considerable adjustments to its scrambler structure. Torque adjustments and an unprecedented 2×1 engine ensured better deliveries at low revs.
In addition to the arrival of the Classic 650, Royal Enfield has already confirmed a robust offensive for Brazil in 2026. In all, there will be seven more motorcycles landing in the country, significantly expanding the brand’s portfolio, especially in the medium-displacement ranges and in versions with strong visual appeal.
The strategy includes models already known in other markets, such as the Goan Classic 350, Hunter 350 and Meteor 350, as well as novelties and special series. Among the highlights are the Himalayan 450 Mana Black Edition, with a focus on off-road use, and the Shotgun 650 in partnership with Rough Crafts, focused on exclusivity and customization.
Another highlight will be the Classic 650 125th Anniversary, a commemorative edition that celebrates the manufacturer’s 125th anniversary with a differentiated finish and limited production.
