With the advancement of technology, the change in consumer taste and even the rise in market prices, the concept of premium motorcycle is no longer exclusive to large and expensive motorcycles. In recent years, traditional brands and new manufacturers have started to invest in more affordable models, but which still deliver a good level of technology and finish.

The result is an increasingly competitive scenario, where it is already possible to find even cheap motorcycles with premium motorcycle characteristics. These are models that offer a feeling of a superior category, whether for the chassis, the equipment or the proposal, without requiring the high investment of top-of-the-line motorcycles.

From urban scooters to faired sports scooters and more powerful nakeds, the list below brings together ten options that stand out precisely for delivering more than the basics — combining premium motorcycle attributes with prices that still fit in your pocket.

1. Haojue DR160 – R$ 20.900

Haojue DR160

We start the list with the Chinese Haojue. This brand that belongs to the Japanese Suzuki was developed to bring simpler and cheaper models, but in its latest releases it has shown a little more.

In a sportier footprint than its more popular sister DK 160, the model has almost every basic package to be a premium motorcycle. Full LED lighting, inverted front suspension and monoshock at the rear, split seat and digital panel. The only negative may be the lack of the ABS brake.

Marketed by just over 20 thousand, the model has been the third way for those who want to escape the Japanese classics that are not so well equipped.

2. Honda PCX 160 – BRL 21.050

Speaking of the classics, the Honda PCX 160 may even be the only one that belongs to this list of low-priced premium motorcycles, after all, the brand only puts “luxury” in its most expensive models, with exceptions like this.

The model arrived in the 2026 line maintaining the proposal that made it famous: to offer a premium motorcycle experience in daily use without going over budget. Even with discreet changes, such as the new color palette and slight price adjustment, the model remains competitive starting at around R$ 18 thousand (going from R$ 21 thousand in the top-of-the-line variant with ABS), reinforcing its positioning as one of the most desired scooters in the country – and even as a cheap motorcycle within the urban premium universe.

Under the fairings, the 160 cm³ engine of up to 16 hp guarantees sufficient performance for urban traffic, combined with one of the strengths of the model: economy. With averages above 40 km/l and autonomy that can exceed 320 km, since its tank has only 8 liters of capacity.

In the “premium” package, the scooter bets on technology and comfort. Full LED lighting with modern signature, face-to-face key, USB port and a generous 30-liter luggage compartment elevate the day-to-day experience. Added to this are the improved ergonomics and refined finish, which place the PCX on a level above direct competitors.

3. Yamaha Fazer FZ15 – BRL 21.190

Yamaha FZ15 2025 (1)

Voted “Motorcycle of the Year” in its category in the year of its launch in 2022, the Yamaha FZ15 quickly established itself as one of the most complete options among low-capacity streets. Today, costing around R$ 21.190, it maintains the proposal of delivering a premium motorcycle experience at an affordable price – which positions it almost as a cheap motorcycle within the category.

The model beat the market for being a premium motorcycle, affordable and belonging to one of the four big Japanese companies in the country (Honda, Yamaha Kawasaki and Suzuki).

One of the main highlights is the full-bodied design, inspired by its bigger sister FZ25. The mechanical set is known and reliable: 149 cm³ flex engine of up to 12.4 hp, focused on economy and urban use. Still, the bike makes up for the quieter proposition with refined chassis, including two-wheel disc brakes with ABS at the front and a wider rear tire, which improves stability.

In the “premium” package, the FZ15 delivers rare items among the 150, such as monoshock rear suspension, LED headlight lighting and complete digital panel with gear indicator and ECO function. In the most recent line, the model evolved with a blackout panel and connectivity via Y-Connect, allowing integration with the smartphone.

4. SBM 250s – BRL 23.490

SBM 250s

SBM recently arrived in Brazil to focus on premium bikes and the 250s is one of the proofs of this. This one undoubtedly draws attention for its sporty and faired posture still in the region of R$ 20 thousand.

At the heart of the sports car is a 249 cm³ engine of 27.5 hp, with liquid cooling and dual control, combined with a six-speed gearbox. The set delivers a sportier touch, reinforced by the assist and slipper clutch.

The chassis also raises the level of the model. Inverted front suspension, monoshock rear suspension and disc brakes with two-channel ABS put the SBM 250s on a higher level compared to many rivals. Completing the package is a modern look with full-LED lighting and a complete digital panel, as well as extras such as USB ports and security sensors.

The model competes directly with the also small faired Yamaha R15 and Kawasaki Ninja 300, and is the most affordable option considering its size.

5. Royal Enfield Classic 350 – BRL 23.490

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Medallion Bronze

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 shows that the premium motorcycle concept is not only in the technology, but also in the experience. An icon of the brand, the model arrives in the 2026 line with new colors and improvements, maintaining the retro look that is its biggest differential — all at a competitive price, close to that of a cheap motorcycle within the custom universe.

The mechanical set remains faithful to the classic proposal: a 349 cm³ single-cylinder engine, with 20.2 hp and good torque at low revs. It is not a motorcycle aimed at sports performance, but for a quiet ride full of personality.

Even with a vintage footprint, the Classic 350 has evolved in equipment. The current version incorporates LED lighting, USB-C input, adjustable levers and gear indicator, in addition to the Tripper navigation system in some versions, balancing tradition and modernity. On the wheels, the ABS brakes hold this classic.

6. Yamaha R15 ABS – BRL 23.490

The Yamaha R15 ABS is one of the clearest examples of how a motorcycle can deliver a premium motorcycle feeling even though it has a low engine. Inspired by the R-Series family, the sports bike maintains an aggressive look and refined aerodynamics — something rare for a cheap motorcycle with a sporty proposal.

The 155 cm³ engine with VVA system guarantees 18.8 hp and versatile behavior, working well both in the city and on the road. Combined with the six-speed gearbox with assisted and slipper clutch, the set delivers a sportier and more controlled ride, after all the bike is officially used in low-engine competitions.

In the technological package, the R15 reinforces its proposal with full LED lighting, a complete digital panel and features such as Shift Light and VVA indicator. The economy is also impressive, with consumption that can exceed 50 km/l and autonomy close to 600 km.

The Bajaj Dominar NS 400z is one of the most interesting proposals when it comes to value for money with a premium motorcycle footprint. Costing in the range of R$ 26 thousand, it delivers an intermediate set of engine and technology – being one of the only ones of its size on the list.

The 373 cm³ single-cylinder engine with about 40 hp ensures strong acceleration and progressive responses, making it easier to ride. Features such as traction control and driving modes raise the technological level.

In use, the Dominar bets on balance, with comfort and stability both in the city and on the road, fulfilling well the proposal of a versatile and robust naked.

8. Zontes V350 – BRL 29.970

The Zontes V350 is one of the most daring representatives among the premium motorcycles accessible in Brazil. With a modern custom proposal, the model draws attention not only for its muscular design, but also for the high level of embedded technology — something unusual even on more expensive motorcycles.

When the brand arrived in Brazil, still with the old V310, the model quickly became prominent precisely for its robust look and proportions that earned comparisons – although keeping the due proportions – with the Ducati Diavel. It was a different proposition for the price range.

Years later, the manufacturer promoted an important update in its global line by expanding the displacement of the 310 family engines to 350 cm³, a movement that began around 2024. Thus was born the current V350, which maintained the striking style, but gained more breath and mechanical refinement.

Equipped with a 348 cm³ single-cylinder engine, which delivers about 39 hp, the V350 offers consistent performance for the cruiser proposal, with quick responses and good elasticity. The six-speed gearbox and clutch assist contribute to a smoother ride, both in the city and on the highway.

The big highlight, however, is in the technological package. Zontes bets on a face-to-face key, riding modes, electrically adjustable windshield, full LED lighting and a complete digital panel with connectivity. Added to this is the traction control and the two-channel ABS brake, raising the level of safety.

9. Kawasaki Ninja 300 – BRL 29.490

Kawasaki Ninja 300

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is one of those cases where the concept of an affordable premium motorcycle comes with history and recognition. The model that returned to the Brazilian market in 2023 maintains the base that consecrated it and remains an interesting option – even as a “cheap motorcycle” within the universe of higher-performance sports bikes.

The highlight is the 296 cm³ twin-cylinder engine, capable of delivering up to 39 hp. Unlike many single-cylinder rivals, the set provides smoother running and superior performance, especially at higher revs.

In the chassis, the Ninja 300 maintains a balanced set, with monoshock rear suspension, ABS brakes and 17-inch wheels, ensuring control and stability.

10. Triumph Speed 400 – BRL 30.490

Triumph Speed 400

The Triumph Speed 400 is one of the clearest examples of how a premium motorcycle can become more affordable. Even with a price of around R$ 30 thousand, it positions itself as a cheap motorcycle alternative within the universe of modern classics from traditional and truly luxurious brands.

The 400 cm³ engine with 40 hp guarantees medium-displacement performance, combined with a modern set with an assisted clutch and six-speed gearbox.

On the technological side, it delivers traction control, electronic throttle, inverted suspension and full LED lighting, in addition to a refined finish. The result is a bike that combines tradition, technology and performance at a competitive value.

Running with the model, agility and throttle response are the points that impress the most and make the model one of the best options on this list. Also, it is no wonder, since it is the most expensive.
