Presenter Xuxa Meneghel faces a legal dispute that has dragged on for almost two years. The artist is trying to recover R$ 366 thousand from an armoring company after the purchase of a Volvo XC90 that had immediate mechanical defects. Even having obtained a favorable and definitive decision, however, Xuxa’s defense alleges difficulties in locating the debtor’s financial assets.

The conflict began in July 2023, when the presenter purchased an XC90 from the company Eleven Blindados. The negotiation involved the payment of R$ 220 thousand in cash, in addition to the delivery of another vehicle as part of the amount. However, the car had technical problems in the first days of use, which led the parties to sign an amicable termination to undo the transaction.

Despite the return of the vehicle by Xuxa, the reimbursement never occurred. At the time, Eleven Blindados claimed that it was impossible to pay due to judicial blocks on its accounts derived from other lawsuits. Faced with the impasse, the artist’s defense even offered to pay the debt in 24 installments, in a proposal that did not prosper. The case was then judicialized in the 6th Civil Court of Barra da Tijuca, in Rio de Janeiro.

Forced execution and res judicata

In October 2024, the Court ordered the restitution of the R$ 220 thousand with monetary correction and interest. The sentence became final in December of that year, becoming final. In January 2025, the forced execution phase began, in which the updated amount, including attorneys’ fees, reached the level of R$ 366 thousand.

Currently, Xuxa’s lawyers are seeking the seizure of the company’s assets and values. A point of friction in the lawsuit is the fact that the armoring company maintains regular operations and an active presence on social networks, while attempts to block the lawsuit via SisbaJud resulted in negative or insufficient to pay off the debt.
