Even with the successor Utopia already established on the market three years ago, Pagani proves that the Huayra still has the breath to surprise. The Italian brand has unveiled the Huayra 70, a strictly limited edition of three units, created to celebrate the 70th birthday of its founder, Horacio Pagani. The model stands out not only for its exclusivity, but for meeting an old request from purists: the union of the V12 engine with a manual transmission.

Unlike the standard versions equipped with an automated single-clutch transmission, the Huayra 70 inherits the seven-speed transverse manual gearbox introduced in the “Epitome” one-off . This mechanical choice reinforces the analog connection between man and machine, a philosophy fervently defended by the company’s founder.

The heart of the hypercar remains the 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine supplied by AMG, but with an improved calibration that delivers 834 hp and 112.1 kgfm of torque. The basis of the design is the chassis of the Huayra Roadster BC, refined with new aerodynamic appendages, including a “swan neck” rear spoiler that optimizes airflow at high speeds.

The first copy of the series, named Trionfo (Triumph), has already been delivered to the customer. The look is marked by the exposed carbon fiber bodywork with green dyeing (Green Carbon), contrasting with vibrant orange details and gold wheels. The interior follows Pagani’s “jewellery” pattern, with classic brown leather, intricate analogue dials and the exposed gear lever, the centrepiece of the cabin.

The production limited to three cars reaffirms Pagani’s strategy of keeping its models “alive” through extreme customizations, transforming each chassis into a unique work of art that instantly values after leaving the factory in San Cesario sul Panaro.
