The Group maintains its regional leadership, driven by its multi-brand strategy, Fiat's dominance and strong presence in key segments
Stellantis ended 2025 with another great achievement, by becoming the first automaker to surpass the mark of 1 million vehicles sold in South America. With only five years of operation in the Latin American market, the company remains the market leader in the region.
The year showed the company’s strength in the segment, due to the multi-brand strategy and its advances in the automotive industry. In this way, Fiat became the best-selling brand in Brazil and South America, with the Fiat Strada being the most sold model.

In other segments, Stellantis also stood out. In the light commercial vehicle segment, the automaker leads in Latin America with more than 300 thousand units sold. Pickup trucks are close behind, with more than 240 thousand units, with emphasis on the Fiat Toro and Ram Rampage models. Vans also had a significant participation, with more than 57 thousand units sold.
In Brazil, the automaker is increasingly expanding its presence in the domestic market and, by the end of 2025, it had more than 750 thousand vehicles registered, reaching 29.3% of total sales in the period. This result was possible due to the various launches throughout the year and the arrival of Leapmotor to the Stellantis portfolio.
Fiat dominated 2025 by leading multiple segments, including hatches, pickup trucks and commercial vehicles, while other manufacturers in the Stellantis group also reached historic milestones, such as Jeep, which maintained the Compass’s leadership among medium SUVs, Ram, which reaffirmed its dominance in large pickup trucks, and Citroën, which reached its highest sales volume in 11 years in Brazil.
The year was also marked by technological and regional expansion, with Peugeot debuting in the hybrid segment and reaching sales records with the new 2008. In Argentina, the group recorded market share records for Jeep and Citroën, in addition to the strengthening of Ram with local production from Dakota.
For 2026, the automaker’s expansion continues, with the planned launch of 16 new models and updates, including Jeep Avenger, Ram Dakota and a new Fiat product, as well as six vehicles equipped with Bio-Hybrid technology. Several commemorative projects involving Fiat’s 50th anniversary in Brazil are also planned.
