With the holiday period and school vacations, the measure was suspended for passenger cars due to the low flow, but remains valid for other vehicles
The rotation of vehicles in São Paulo (SP) has been suspended since December 22, 2025. According to the Traffic Engineering Company (CET), the interruption of the measure in the capital of São Paulo occurs due to the reduction in the volume of cars recorded during the holiday period.
Known as Operation Peak Hours, the restriction on vehicle traffic in the municipal rotation reaches the capital’s Ring Road from 7 am to 10 am and from 5 pm to 8 pm.
