Imported from South Korea, Koleos bets on electrified motorization and robust technological package to raise the level of the automaker in Brazil
Renault decided to raise the bar and enter the dispute for electrified medium SUVs in Brazil. The French automaker had already confirmed the launch of the Koleos Full Hybrid in the domestic market later this year. Now, the model is already on the brand’s official website in the country, signaling an imminent arrival.
Imported from the Busan plant in South Korea, the Koleos bets on HEV (conventional hybrid) technology. This configuration is an important commercial asset to attract consumers who seek high energy efficiency in their daily lives, but who are still afraid of the national charging infrastructure, since the system does not require external recharging at outlets.
Under the hood, engineering combined performance and economy: the mechanical set combines a modern 1.5 turbo combustion engine with an electric engine and dual-clutch transmission, resulting in a robust 245 combined horsepower.

In the cabin, the automaker’s bet is to seduce the customer through refinement and embedded technology. The digital dashboard that equips the SUV is dominated by an impressive front set of three interactive screens of 12.3″ each, offering full control over entertainment and navigation.
The interior environment, designed to accommodate five occupants with comfort to spare, gains even more spaciousness with the inclusion of a panoramic sunroof. In addition, the safety package features state-of-the-art ADAS systems, ensuring practical level 2 semi-autonomous driving capabilities.

The imminent landing of the Koleos in the national market represents the tip of a deep restructuring of Renault. The movement of sophistication intended by the brand can already be noticed in other actions, such as the creation of “rnlt” concept stores, installed in high-end shopping malls .
