The model produced in Brazil is the brand's first with flex technology and arrives at dealerships in April
The Ram Rampage 2027 is the first pickup truck from the ram brand to have a flex engine. The model now offers the 2.0 Turbo Hurricane 4 Flex engine in the Laramie and R/T versions, with 272 hp of power and 40 kgfm of torque, regardless of the fuel used.
Developed by the Stellantis Tech Center South America, the engine received a series of adaptations to operate with ethanol, gasoline or a mixture of both. The changes include adjustments to components such as turbocharger, injection system and electronic center, in addition to the inclusion of an ethanol sensor, ensuring performance and durability.

According to Juliano Machado, head of Ram for South America, the introduction of the flex engine transforms the brand making it more versatile, being able to meet the demands of the Brazilian consumer, while keeping the Rampage as the most competitive car in the segment.
The line also maintains the 2.2 turbodiesel engine with 200 hp and 46 kgfm in the Big Horn, Rebel and Laramie versions, while the R/T version is still equipped exclusively with the Hurricane 4.
Among the novelties, the Rampage 2027 now has a memory system for electric adjustment of the driver’s seat, standard on the R/T and Laramie versions and optional on the Rebel. The entry-level Big Horn version receives new driving assistance systems, such as forward collision warning with automatic braking, lane keeping assistant and automatic high beams.
The model also maintains the safety package with six airbags, stability and traction control, full LED lighting and four-wheel disc brakes. Rampage’s new line arrives at Brazilian dealerships from April.
