Medium pickup will have Big Horn and Laramie Night Edition variants by the end of 2026; 200 hp 2.2 turbodiesel engine will be maintained throughout the range
Ram will expand the offer of the Dakota pickup in the Brazilian market with the launch of two new versions by the end of 2026, the Autos Segredos website has learned. The strategic expansion aims to cover the ends of the range, introducing the entry-level Big Horn variant and the new top option, called the Laramie Night Edition. With the change, the model, which currently has the Warlock and Laramie options, will operate in a wider price range.

The Big Horn version will take on the role of the line’s gateway, but preserves a robust package of standard equipment. Inside, the pickup has a 12.3″ multimedia center, digital instrument panel and two-zone air conditioning. The safety package includes six airbags, autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection and adaptive cruise control (ACC). Externally, the model features 17-inch alloy wheels, bucket protector and marine canopy.

At the top of the hierarchy, the unprecedented Laramie Night Edition will differentiate itself by its exclusive aesthetic appeal. The variant receives darkened finishes on the front grille, mirrors and wheels (which rise to 18″). The technological highlight is the inclusion of a front LED bar — an item absent in the other configurations.
Mechanically, the Dakota will have no changes. Both novelties will maintain the 2.2 turbodiesel engine with 200 hp of power and 45,9 kgfm of torque, coupled to the eight-speed automatic transmission and 4×4 traction. The load capacity remains at 1,020 kg, with a bucket volume of 1,210 liters and a towing capacity of up to 3,500 kg. The reorganization places the Big Horn as the base, followed by Warlock, Laramie and, finally, the Laramie Night Edition as the brand’s most complete option in the segment.
