The Dakota debuted on the market about two months ago. And to ensure that the utility arrives in full force, the manufacturer already offers a catalog with more than 20 original accessories developed by Mopar. The items were designed to raise the level of robustness and functionality of the vehicle, without giving up the 5-year factory warranty.

Turbodiesel power and impressive load capacity

Under the hood, the new Dakota features a 2.2 turbodiesel engine that delivers 200 hp and a torque of 46 kgfm, coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission. This set is not just for leisure, as the pickup supports up to 1,020 kg in the bed and has a towing capacity of 3,500 kg. For those who need to pull trailers or boats, the original trailer hitch is already on Mopar’s list of accessories.

Versatility with the Mopar touch

The list of accessories aims to transform the bucket into a multifunctional tool. Among the highlights are the bucket extender, which also works as a ramp for motorcycles, and the electric soft top with remote control activation. In terms of technology and style, Ram Dakota offers:

  • Electric running board (which expands automatically when opening the doors);
  • illuminated thresholds;
  • Rambar (Ram’s exclusive seat) available in black or chrome.

To celebrate the launch, Mopar presented the Blue Shadow concept. Based on the Warlock version, the model is a showcase of the pickup’s off-road potential: it features raised suspension with Fox shock absorbers, 33″ Yokohama Geolander tires and beadlock wheels. The look comes with the exclusive Mopar Blue color and a custom hood with LED lights on the grille and amber lighting, reinforcing the brand’s aggressive identity.
