Changan SUV overcomes extreme conditions of ice and bitter cold to achieve record jump of 20.9 meters and enter the Guinness World Records
The fourth-generation Changan CS75 Plus this month set a Guinness World Record by making the longest jump on an ice ramp, reaching a distance of 20.9 meters under extreme temperatures of –30 °C.
The model used in the challenge is equipped with the Tianshu Comprehensive Intelligent Safety System, which includes electronic stability control (ESC) and traction control system (TCS), responsible for monitoring wheel dynamics and acting in real time to maintain vehicle stability.

The SUV is offered with two engine options. The 1.5T version uses the Blue Whale 1.5T engine, with 500 bar direct injection, power of 189 hp and torque of 310 Nm, associated with an eight-speed Aisin automatic transmission. The 2.0T version, on the other hand, delivers 229 hp and 390 Nm of torque, with the same transmission, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds.
The CS75 Plus measures 4.77 meters long, 1.91 meters wide and has a wheelbase of 2.80 meters. Inside, the SUV has an integrated cockpit formed by three screens totaling 37 inches, iFlytek Spark AI voice assistant, level 2 assisted driving features and a 725-liter trunk, with expansion up to 1,620 liters.
