Partnership with Austrian shipyard results in 536 hp boat and a modified Macan Turbo with a 'deck' look in the trunk
Porsche reinforced its commitment to electrification beyond the roads during boot Düsseldorf 2026, one of the largest nautical fairs in the world, held in Germany. The manufacturer presented the “Macan Turbo Concept Lago”, an exclusive model created to accompany the launch of the Frauscher x Porsche 790 Spectre sports boat, developed in partnership with the Austrian shipyard Frauscher.

The new boat, which is 7.97 meters tall, is built around the technology of the all-electric Porsche Macan. The vessel uses the same 100 kWh high-voltage battery and 536 hp electric motor as the SUV, adapted for marine use.

To mark the collaboration, the brand’s personalisation division, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, modified the Macan Turbo on display at the event. The vehicle received the “Darkteal Metallic” paint, the same used on the hull of the boat, in addition to internal finishes that refer to the nautical environment. The trunk and carpets were covered in real wood, simulating the deck of a yacht, while the traditional dashboard stopwatch was replaced by a compass.

The interior of the car also adopts water-resistant materials and typical navy colors, such as “marine-grade” fabric on the seats and night green stitching. Porsche says the concept aims to demonstrate how design and electric performance can be unified between land and water.

While the Macan Concept Lago remains, for now, just a design exercise with no sales forecast, the Frauscher x Porsche 790 Spectre speedboat is now available for orders. The event also served as the stage for the German debut of the new Electric Cayenne, which the brand positions as the ideal vehicle to tow this type of vessel, with a traction capacity of up to 3.5 tons.
