With two motors and acceleration from 0 to 96 km/h in 3.6 seconds, the new electric SUV fills the gap in the German brand's luxury range
Porsche has continued the electrification of its SUV range with the arrival of the new electric Porsche Cayenne S. The unprecedented version debuts to fill the strategic ‘hole’ between the entry-level configuration and the top-of-the-line Turbo, repeating the portfolio logic already applied to the brand’s smallest SUV, the Macan.
The Cayenne S maintains the arrangement of two electric motors and all-wheel drive, but raises the level of performance compared to the base model. There are 536 hp of combined power under normal conditions, which jumps to 657 hp when the launch control is activated. The mechanical vigor allows the SUV to complete the 0 to 100 km/h test in less than 4 seconds, with a top speed limited to 250 km/h.

To sustain the set, Porsche uses the same 113 kWh battery as the other versions, but with a technological differential in charging. The system supports up to 400 kW in direct current, which allows it to recover from 10% to 80% of the energy in less than 16 minutes at compatible stations. The design of the charging ports remains functional, with direct current input on the driver’s side and alternating current input on the passenger.
Visually, the S version is distinguished by the bumpers with details in Metallic Volcanic Gray. Among the performance items, the torque vectoring system (PTV Plus) and the sophisticated Active Ride suspension stand out. The Sport Chrono Package, standard in this configuration, introduces the automatic overtaking function, which releases an additional 120 hp for up to 10 seconds.

In Brazil, the new Porsche Cayenne S debuts for R$ 1,080,000 and is now available for order. The first deliveries in Brazil are scheduled for the second half of 2026, the brand said.
