From an exclusive color to a walnut gear knob, the new limited series of 90 units transforms the 911 GT3 into a luxury tribute to its creator
Porsche has unveiled a special edition of the 911 GT3 with Touring package (generation 992.2) to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the birth of Ferdinand Alexander Porsche. Responsible for the lines of the first 911, the designer is honored with a limited series of just 90 examples, which combines the track performance of the GT division with a luxury craftsmanship.
The design originated from a one-off model commissioned by Mark Philipp Porsche, son of F.A. Porsche, and was refined by the Sonderwunsch program. The result is the exclusive color “Metallic Green FA”, a shade developed specifically for this tribute through the Paint to Sample Plus system, which contrasts with gray details and satin-finished wheels.

In the technical field, the model preserves the 4.0-liter six-cylinder naturally aspirated boxer engine, which delivers 510 hp and 45,9 kgfm. To reinforce the emotional connection with driving, the transmission is a six-speed manual. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 3.9 seconds, with a top speed of 313 km/h.
The cabin reflects F.A. Porsche’s maxim that “design must be functional”. The Truffle Brown Club leather upholstery is accompanied by seat center panels in Pepita fabric, a classic of the brand. The visual highlight is the walnut wood gear knob, a reference to the racing Porsches of the past, and the edition logo engraved on the headrests.
In addition to the vehicle, each of the 90 owners will receive an exclusive Porsche Design chronograph and a personalized cover.
