ABT Sportsline's RSQ8-S Kit Adds Carbon Fiber Components, 23-Inch Wheels and Electronic Reprogramming to German SUV
The German ABT Sportsline — a traditional model preparer of the Volkswagen Group — presented an even more radical version of Audi’s most extreme SUV, the RS Q8. The new RSQ8-S upgrade package breaks the original factory barrier and now delivers up to 760 hp of power, making it one of the fastest SUVs on the market today.
The mechanical intervention is the great asset of the project: originally, the RS Q8’s twin-turbo V8 engine yields 600 hp in the standard version and 640 hp in the Performance variant. Equipped with the ABT control module, the numbers jump significantly: the entry configuration reaches 740 hp and 93,8 kgfm, while the top of the line beats 760 hp and monumental 100 kgfm.

To keep up with the performance gain, the company developed a functional aerodynamic kit molded in apparent carbon fiber. The set includes a new splitter on the front bumper, side skirts and an optimized rear diffuser. The look is rounded off by huge 23-inch ABT High Performance forged wheels and a resized stainless steel exhaust system, with four 102 mm outlets.

In the cabin, the changes are more contained, betting on exclusivity. The ABT logo is present on the headrests, illuminated sills, floor mats, on the start button cover and on the gear lever.
Driving dynamics have also been refined with the ABT Level Control system, which adjusts the factory air suspension to lower the SUV by up to 25 millimeters, ensuring a more favorable center of gravity for cornering. The RSQ8-S package is offered abroad for an initial price in the range of US$ 63 thousand, a figure that already includes installation costs.
