Sequel to the indie game My Summer Car bets on survival, harsh weather and even more complex mechanics in the Finnish winter setting
Ten years after its release, the PC game My Summer Car has finally made access to its sequel, My Winter Car, available. The simulation game is set against the backdrop of a harsh Finnish winter, in which the player will have to build a car from scratch.
The game provides several challenges for those who play, that is, it is not easy and is very similar to the difficulties we face in real life. In the trailer for the first version of the game, there is already a warning that “this is not a fun game”.

The My Winter Car page on the Steam platform features a short synopsis with the following warnings: first-person survival game with permadeath, complete assembly of cars and engines with 200 unique parts, simulation of the player’s body temperature, and realistic policing that chases the player if he messes up. Very real for those who want to escape a little from the reality of everyday life.
The rest of the game’s description makes it even more intriguing and difficult. As it takes place in Finland, the player will face challenges related to weather conditions, since, at this time of year, there are only six hours of sunshine. The game proposes an environmental immersion, with a sense of difficult time and a dangerous, depressing and tiring atmosphere.
The game’s developer, Amistech Game, recommends playing My Summer Car before the winter version, as the new title is more difficult and complex than the previous one. Both can be found on the Steam platform for R$ 27,99 and R$ 46,99, respectively.
