A unique example was created for the passage of the flame of the 2026 Winter Games; SUV has a 530 hp engine and aesthetics that imitate ice and snow
The passage of the Olympic flame through the historic Maserati factory in Modena, Italy, served as the stage for the automaker to unveil an exclusive creation: the Grecale Cristallo. The unique model was developed by the brand’s customisation programme to celebrate the torch relay towards the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
The SUV stands out for its aesthetic work that simulates the environment of winter competitions. The bodywork received a special multi-layer paint that transitions from matte white to a shiny pearlescent effect, using ice blue pigments to replicate the appearance of snow crystals under the light. The interior follows the theme, with ice-colored Alcantara upholstery and contrasting blue stitching.

Although the look refers to the coldness of snow, the Grecale Cristallo’s mechanical assembly is high-performance. The model is based on the top-of-the-line Trofeo version, equipped with the V6 3.0 biturbo “Nettuno” engine, derived from the MC20 super sports car. The engine delivers 530 hp of power and 63,2 kgfm of torque.

The performance numbers position the “Olympic car” among the fastest SUVs in the segment. According to data from the manufacturer, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 285 km/h. The model also has all-wheel drive and adaptive air suspension, calibrated to offer both comfort and rigidity in sporty driving.
The special unit will not be sold on a large scale. It serves as a showcase for the Fuoriserie program, Maserati’s division dedicated to customers looking for tailor-made customizations, from exclusive paints to noble materials in the finish. The Grecale Cristallo will accompany the Olympic torch to the opening ceremony of the games, reinforcing the brand’s strategy of associating its image with luxury and “Made in Italy” performance.
