Produced in Rio de Janeiro, the British brand's entry-level medium SUV had its price reduced for units in stock from the 2024 and 2025 model years
Jaguar Land Rover started the month of March with a commercial offensive to empty its stocks in Brazil. The target of the action is the Discovery Sport, a medium SUV produced at the plant in Itatiaia (RJ), which is being offered with bonuses of up to R$ 60 thousand. The special condition is valid for units of the 2024/2025 and 2025/2025 model years still available in the dealership network. With the discount applied to the suggested public price of R$ 448.450, the SUV can be purchased for R$ 388.450.
Positioned as the British brand’s gateway to the country, the Discovery Sport replaced the Freelander in 2014 and underwent a deep update in 2019, when it adopted the PTA (Premium Transverse Architecture) platform — the same used by the Jaguar E-Pace and the Range Rover Evoque. With a length of 4,597 mm and a wheelbase of 2,741 mm, the model stands out in the segment for its optional seven-seat offer, a feature that differentiates it from direct rivals in the luxury market.

The units contemplated by the promotion are equipped with the 2.0 turboflex engine of the Ingenium family, capable of generating 249 hp of power and 37,2 kgfm of torque. The set is managed by a nine-speed ZF automatic transmission and has Terrain Response 2 all-wheel drive, which adjusts the vehicle’s behavior according to the type of surface. In terms of performance, the SUV reaches 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 225 km/h.

In the most recent line, the cabin has received significant improvements in technology. The main novelty is the Pivi Pro multimedia center with an 11.4-inch curved screen, which centralizes commands that were previously physical, such as adjusting the air conditioning. The redesign of the center console and gear knob gave a cleaner look to the dashboard, which now has induction cell phone charging as standard and wireless integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems.
