Honda closed the 18th edition of the Best Quality program, electing the best after-sales professionals from the motorcycle and car dealership network in South America. The event, held at the brand’s Training Center in Sumaré (SP), brought together 21 finalists from Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay and Peru. The competition for those who know more in their area is the culmination of a process that began in April 2025 and had more than 13.5 thousand entries in its initial phase.

Created in 2007, the program has already trained more than 157 thousand employees throughout the region, using the competitive climate to improve the standardization and quality of the services provided by the brand. In this edition, the big news was the debut of the Body Repair & Painting category, aimed exclusively at Brazilian technicians.

During the final, participants were subjected to rigorous theoretical and practical tests that involved electrical diagnosis, metrology and motor inspection. In the unprecedented category of body shop, technicians faced panel recovery tests and repainting processes. The evaluation criteria included absolute adherence to the manufacturer’s methodologies and the correct use of specific tools.

Among the outstanding Brazilian winners, Clécio Vieira da Costa (Poty Motos, CE) won the title of best technician of low-displacement motorcycles, while Antônio Marcos Brito Almeida (Motoca, MA) won in the high-displacement category. In the car segment, Mauricio Ferreira Thiago Miyazato (Endo Car, MS) secured first place as technician, and Jesse William Barbosa (Daitan Taubaté, SP) was crowned the first champion of the new body and paint category.

Best Quality reinforces Honda’s commitment to offering excellent service that follows the vehicle’s life cycle. According to the manufacturer, the initiative is vital to keep the authorized network up to date in the face of technological innovations in its products launched in 2026.
