Automaker discontinues entry-level and top-of-the-line options to focus on the BEV58 configuration, which becomes the only offer of the electric hatch for R$ 169 thousand
GWM decided to reduce the offer of the Ora 03 electric hatch in the Brazilian market, starting to offer the model exclusively in the BEV58 configuration. The decision reflects a direct adjustment to consumer demand: according to data from the automaker, this version accounted for 77% of the model’s registrations in the first two months of 2026.
With the new guideline, the entry-level variants (BEV48, with a smaller battery) and the option with a sporty appeal (GT or BEV63) are no longer produced for Brazil, remaining available only while stocks last at dealerships. From now on, the Ora 03 BEV58 assumes the role of a single option, maintaining the list price at R$ 169 thousand.

Originally launched as a limited series, the BEV58 version has been consolidated by the balance between cost and autonomy. Equipped with a 58 kWh battery, the compact delivers a range of 315 km in the rigorous Inmetro cycle — which can reach 420 km in the WLTP global standard. The mechanical set remains unchanged, with a front engine of 171 hp and immediate torque of 25,5 kgfm.

In the passenger compartment, the surviving version preserves the panoramic sunroof, induction charging and the level 2+ driver assistance system (ADAS). In practice, GWM’s move seeks to optimize logistics and strengthen the model’s positioning against its main rival, the BYD Dolphin. By concentrating efforts on the higher-volume version, the brand simplifies the purchase journey and tries to solidify its participation in a segment increasingly disputed by entry-level models and premium options.
